Ghost

In The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe one of my favorite parts is after Lucy and Susan see Aslan after the witch has killed him. Lucy and Susan are devastated. While they are staring at him he comes to life and they are taken by complete surprise because a Lion that they had just seen murdered has spoken to them. Lucy says, “Aren’t you dead dear Aslan?” and he responds with “Not now.” Susan then says, “You’re not- not a-?” Lucy and Susan could have sworn Aslan was a ghost because there is not way he could be talking to them if he indeed was not a ghost. This mention of someone being a ghost reminds me of when Jesus is walking on water in front of the disciples, they cannot believe it is happening and question if he is real. This is what little faith I sometime have in my savior. I think that he cannot do something little for me when he has done acts like walk on water and has conquered death. Jesus is the almighty and most of the time I have forgotten that his power holds true for my life even though it happened 2,000 years ago.
