The Bible, I believe, can be viewed as a book is the incredible and the unbelievable. Giant Goliath is destroyed by the smallest son David who becomes a great king. The king has a great downfall when he gives in to lust and power, all starting with unrequited love. Finally, the greatest man who ever lived took on all the sins of man and then conquered death itself so man may be free. There was a fall of man and miracles performed on the sick and weary. The unlikely conquer is the gist of the story throughout the old and new testaments. Viewing the Bible as a book of the extraordinary makes it difficult to believe for some, but the reason other believe.
I think this book becomes so incredible because it far outreached any logical grasp on some physical concepts and many spiritual ones. We cannot put a price on faith that is seen through the works of this man Jesus. The stories passed down through the ages have the mystery and excitement to leave a lasting impression on millions and so many more to come. Though a book of the unbelievable, the grace and faith that is known by the believers is said to be lifesaving.
