Hope
“When he remembered the face of Aslan he did hope.” After reading this line in the Magicians Nephew I stopped and read it a couple times more. This is the scene in the book when Digory is feeding his mother the apple he got from Narnia. He had stolen the apple in the hopes that it would help his mother become healthy again, but when he got home his hope seemed to flourish. I feel as though this happens in my own life a lot, I have faith in the Lord but when something doesn’t work out right away I am so quick to lose hope. I know the Lord’s love for my isn’t conditional, and my faith in him shouldn’t be. He has paid the ultimate price for me. When I think about that my hope in him is renewed.
