Last Semester of College-Lauren Brooks
So I started college in one of Dr. Redick’s class writing a journal and I am ending my time at school here in the same way. It’s so weird to look back on four years of your life and realize how much has changed between then and now. I am at a completely different place in my life and I have evolved and changed during my time here. One specific area that I have really grown in is my spiritual education. I thought taking religious and philosophical classes in college would just confuse me about my religion, but if it has done anything it has made me stronger. I have enjoyed learning more about the history of Christianity and even the history of other religions. I was also lucky enough to have the experience of studying abroad with a primary focus on religion. It was such a great experience to be out of the bubble of the US and to really see how different groups of people experience and interact with religion. This class has only added to my journey and I look forward to looking back on the next four years of my life and seeing what has changed.
