My Choice-God is for us-Melissa Faller

Beth Moore is a Christian writer and speaker who argues that “God can not turn a table that was never set against us.” She says this to imply that the tough scenarios that God puts us through are used to increase our trust in Christian relationships with God. In other words if Christians were to receive all the answers to their prayers they would not have the same level of relationship with God. Some would argue against this theory however I believe that she makes an interesting point. She suggests that the reason that God provides us with tough scenarios, and the reason that God make us deal with our own tough scenarios rather than just solving the problem for us is to show us his glory. She emphasizes that God knows he is great. It is humans who often question themselves in times of difficulty. God uses these times to show Christians that I can do this on my own, but I choose to do it with someone like you. She believes that this not only helps explain why God choices to involve us in tough situation but also shows that God uses Christians in order to do his greater good.
