During class one day, we listened to the song Turkish Delight by David Crowder Band. This song comes off an album titled "Music Inspired By The Chronicles of Narnia." Turkish delight is a dessert fancied by Edmund in the first of the Narnia series, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. The White Witch uses this dessert to tempt Edmund in order to get information from him about his brother and sisters.
Turkish delight itself is a representation of an object of worth to the point of obsession. In this instance, Edmund becomes engulfed in the idea of turkish delight, desiring more and more, doing nothing to stop him from obtaining it. This can be relatable to our lives and objects of obsession that we deal with.
