My twitter account gives me access to several forms of communication. I can communicate with friends and professors, get the latest news headlines, and check sports scores. I recently stumbled upon a twitter account entitled "CS Lewis Daily" and decided to follow it. Twitter has a setting to which I can upload quotes directly to my phone, so everyday I get a CS Lewis quote sent to my phone.
I have found that these quotes have posed many thought provoking ideas. One in particular caught my attention the other day. It stated, "To a man on a mountain road by night, a glimpse of the next 3 feet of road may matter more than a vision of the horizon." This makes me think about life in college and how these years are full of change and anticipation. We are preparing for the next steps in our lives. In this quote, CS Lewis understands the anticipation of future events and knows that every little glance into what the future holds helps us immensely with where our lives are going. The analogy of a man on the mountain road is synonomous to our time in college as we wait to see what this life has to offer us.
