Inklings

After hearing about the group of friends such as C.S Lewis, his brother Warren Lewis, J. R.R Tolkein and many other friends. They would meet at the Eagle and Child in Oxford, or as they called it the bird and the baby. They met during the day and discussed topics of fantasy and myth. I love this comradery that they have formed with one another, I feel like I have experienced that at school, but not on that level. My two good friend and I decided at the beginning of the year to meet just the three of us. We would find a bar and make it our normal meeting spot. We would share a pitcher and talk about life. This group has meant so much to me this semester. We have grown as friends and followers of Christ, I feel so blessed to have them. We even call ourselves the “Inklings”.
